Hi Moms! We are working with a Coordinator for our trip to Disney World this fall. Our daughters are 4 and 6...would love to here your opinions about best places to stay. We want to do 3 days at the park and then 1 lazy day at the pool. Thanks!

Hi Allison! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Fall is a great time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. In fact, it is the time my family most frequently visits. We love events like Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. Plus, seeing Magic Kingdom Park all decorated in fall decor with Mickey-shaped pumpkins on the light posts lining Main Street, U.S.A. is such a treat!

You could ask each of my fellow panelists this question and probably receive different answers each time! This is simply because each Disney Resort hotel has something unique to offer and you really can't go wrong with any choice. I will give you my personal recommendation for each Disney Resort hotel category so you have some options to consider.

Value: Disney's Art of Animation Resort has bright and familiar themes that your daughters are sure to love. The pool is amazing (under water music? Yes, please!) and if you choose a Family Suite, you'll have a separate bedroom to guarantee yourself a little privacy during your stay.

Moderate: Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is my choice here, mostly for the Royal Guest Rooms. These rooms offer a special element not found anywhere else - a headboard with a fireworks display. How cool is that?!

Deluxe: My kids are mesmerized by animals which is why I would pick Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. I also consider this hotel to have a more "relaxing" feel and find it to be one of the quieter Disney Resort hotels, personally.

I hope this helps you decide what location is best for your family's stay! Happy planning!
