Hey there, Christopher. Thanks for bringing this question to us at planDisney. We're so glad you're here and I'm delighted to help out.
Oh boy! A visit to the Disneyland Resort with a group of friends and/or family sounds like the perfect day. A valid
theme park ticket and theme park reservation are both required for entry into Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. I just took a peek at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar and noticed that there are theme park reservations open (for both 1 Park Per Day and Park Hopper tickets) for the day of your planned visit. Availability can change so I recommend purchasing your tickets when you see open reservations. If there isn't any availability, I recommend checking the site frequently as oftentimes Guests will change their plans and you will see reservations open up.
Once you're ready to purchase tickets at the Disneyland site, you will be prompted to select the day of your visit - doing this creates your
theme park reservation. I'm not sure if you've already purchased your tickets, Christopher, but if you have (and you purchased them at the Disneyland site) you may already have theme park reservations. An easy way to check this is to log into your Disney account and click on "My Plans" under the heading "My Disneyland" towards the top right. Any confirmed reservations will be listed here.
Christopher, I hope this helps as you are planning your magical visit - it's getting close. There are so many exciting things happening at the Disneyland Resort with the
Disney100 Celebration in full swing. There are two new nighttime spectaculars to behold and all of the festive eats for your heart's (and stomach's) desire. I really hope you are able to secure your theme park tickets and reservations for your upcoming visit. Please come back to share any other questions that come to mind. I'll be sending some pixie dust your way.
Michelle
