Hi, we have a work trip to Orlando and will be staying by the Orlando airport. Is it possible to get an Uber or Lyft to the theme parks? If it were possible , is there a designated pick up and drop off location inside the park near the entrance?

Hi Rose! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

What a fun location to have a business trip! If I found myself in the Orlando area, I would definitely make my way over to the Walt Disney World Resort as often as possible. You will have such a fun day!

You should be able to use a ride-sharing service to head over to the theme parks. I have friends that have used Uber to travel from Orlando International Airport to the Walt Disney World Resort many times! Once your ride arrives at the theme parks, there should be signs indicating where your driver can go for the drop-off area. You can also ask a Cast Member at one of the booths that you will stop at on your way into the parking lot. For each theme park, the drop-off area is close to the entrance with the exception of Magic Kingdom Park where you will be dropped off at the Transportation and Ticket Center, then you will take either the monorail or ferryboat over to the Magic Kingdom Park entrance.

You could also check with the Front Desk at the hotel you are staying at to see if they can offer any better recommendations for transportation to the theme parks. But a ride-sharing service may still be your best bet!

Enjoy your visit, Rose! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
