How do placeholders work on Disney cruises?

Ahoy Richard, and welcome to planDisney!  When my family and friends take a magical vacation aboard Disney Cruise Line, I encourage them to reserve a placeholder, or Onboard Booking Offer.

While onboard, you can reserve a placeholder for a future itinerary in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.  The cost will be charged to your stateroom folio.  When you are back home and ready to book, you can call Disney Cruise Line to make your new reservation.  You will receive a 10% discount on prevailing rates on the Disney Cruise Line website and receive a discount on sailings of 7 days or more.  You will have 24 months from when you book the placeholder to cruise.  Please review the Terms and Conditions, including blackout dates.

This is a great way to plan for a future vacation while saving money!  If you have any other questions, sail back to planDisney.

    Adventure is out there!
