I work for Department of Corrections. Do Public Service employees get any kind of a discount with Disney? Thank you!

    Hi Julie,
Thanks for submitting your question to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're so glad you stopped in to see us.

At this time, the Walt Disney World Resort unfortunately does not offer any discounts for Public Service employees such as Department of Corrections, police officers, firefighters or EMS workers. The discounts they have are available for members of the United States Military (and select affiliated organizations), Military Reserves, and Military Veterans only.

However, don't let this discourage you! There are still fantastic discounts to be had; you can check out the Special Offers website to check out the offers that are currently available. These offers can change at any time, so bookmark this site and refer to it periodically to see what new offers are available.

Did you know that Disney gives some fantastic benefits to guests that are staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel? Some of these extras include Disney's Magical Express, which is free transportation between Orlando International Airport and your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, free bus service throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, and incredible bonuses like Extra Magic Hours. All of these are included with your resort stay!

Julie, I hope you can find some great ways to save while planning your next vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
