I have to work a bit while visiting. Is there anywhere to sit, and plug in my laptop while I work and people watch?

    Heigh-ho, Stacey! Welcome to planDisney!

While we'd love for vacations to be all fun and games, sometimes there's no getting around an important task or two that simply must be done. So, let's make the best of it, shall we? We'll whistle while we work and find some spots at the Walt Disney World Resort where you can concentrate on the job at hand - and maybe even enjoy it!

Since we live in an ever-connected world, Disney has thoughtfully provided power outlets throughout the theme parks and Resort hotel common areas where we can plug in and recharge. One of the more whimsical spots to power up is in the Magic Kingdom Park just outside the Tangled-themed restrooms. Between the restrooms and the end of the queue for Peter Pan's Flight is a table and chairs fashioned to look like they were carved from logs. You'll see a couple of tree stumps next to the seating area that hide an outlet and phone charging station. It can get pretty busy there, so you may need to time it right, but it's a great place to sit and watch the "World" go by!

Just a few steps away is the Columbia Harbour House restaurant. Mobile order yourself a beverage and a snack and then head upstairs to find a dining area with windows overlooking the walkway between the Tangled restrooms and Liberty Square. You should find outlets in the wall near a table. It's cozy and quiet, and offers a really nice view.

Okay, one more! If you're looking to plug in at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, see if you can hop inside Nomad Lounge. There are outlets right under the bar, so you can plop your laptop down and work while enjoying the ambience. Plus, the servers and bartenders at Nomad are the BEST! They'll keep you in good "spirits" while you get your work done.

In a pinch, you can always ask a nearby Cast Member for advice. They know every nook and cranny of the theme parks, so they'll be sure to help you find that perfect spot to settle in.

Stacey, I hope you have a great time, even when it's off to work you go during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Thank you so much for stopping by, and we'll see ya real soon!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
