Can I use my work benefit to purchase tickets to Disneyworld and use my Disney reward points to pay for it? Jane

Hiya, Jane! Welcome to planDisney. I am so happy you stopped by as you are planning your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Looking to stretch your vacation dollars? Scrooge McDuck would applaud your savvy, and I do, too. If you are looking to purchase tickets from an employee benefit program, these typically require payment to them directly. I have access to Tickets at Work and checked their website. They accept major credit cards but not Disney gift cards or My Disney Rewards Dollars you earn through the Disney Visa card. I would suggest checking the site of your employee program for their accepted forms of payment.

I love using my Disney Rewards Dollars. It is nice to go to Walt Disney World Resort and use my card to pay for dinner. It's a little bit of luxury, as I order dessert guilt-free. (I adopt the theory that calories at Disney don't count. And when you add paying with reward dollars, there is absolutely nothing to cause guilt to interrupt my magical moments.)

You may want to check out the special offers available through Walt Disney World Resort. If you are looking to stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you may find an offer that can help you save on the magic.

Did you know your Disney Visa card gets you access to special character greetings? You can meet Disney characters at EPCOT and have a Star Wars experience that is out of this galaxy at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Wishing you all the pixie dust as you plan your vacation to Walt Disney World. Please fly back by planDisney with any questions.

    Thinking of the happiest things,
    Jana
