I work at an airport, and I've had a few customers on their way back from the parks come in and say that Ariel was back at her grotto when they visited. However, her spot is still listed as unavailable online. Sorry for asking again, but any updates?

    Hiya, Ali!

Welcome back to planDisney! No need for apologies, friend. One of the best reasons to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth is to spend time with some of our favorite princesses. The human world was a bit of a mess for some time, and Ariel has been spending a little more time at sea, where "life is the bubbles". I am sad to report that the opportunity to meet Ariel at her grotto is still on hold for the time being. I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news about Princess Ariel and her return to Walt Disney World Resort.

Now I know you may be thinking that your customers may have swallowed a bit too much seawater, but they are partially correct. While Ariel has been spending most of her time exploring the sea and shores of the human world, she does return to greet Guests near her grotto during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. She and Prince Eric have set those evenings aside to help spread holiday cheer at Magic Kingdom Park. They traditionally start greeting around 7 PM and continue to hang around throughout the evening.

If a ticket to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is not part of your thingamabob collection, you can still wave hello to Ariel during the Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom Park. She has also been known to join her fellow princesses at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall when she is not spending time under the sea.

I'll be hoping that someday Ariel will be part of your world real soon!
