Any word when the other levels of Annual Passes will become available? I'm planning a trip in October and would really like to purchase an Annual Pass as opposed to multi-day ticket. Thanks!

Hey there, hi there, Debbie! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with such a great question. I love chatting Disney with my pals, pal!

It sounds as if the magic is calling you, Debbie! The magic called me, too, and I've been a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder since 2015. I love being able to just make Theme Park Pass reservations and head to my happy place on a whim, and I'm doing just that next week! This past year, I unknowingly and accidentally let my daughter's Annual Pass expire (Whoops!), so, I definitely understand your vacation planning dilemma, and I'm more than happy to answer your question today.

Unfortunately, no announcements have been made on when the sales of new Annual Passes will resume once again. While I understand the frustration of having to purchase a multi-day ticket when you want to purchase an Annual Pass, Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries!" I do have a couple of suggestions for you.

First, since your vacation is approaching, I do recommend going ahead and purchasing a multi-day ticket so that you can make your Theme Park Pass reservations as soon as possible. Then, keep an eye on the Walt Disney World Annual Passholder page to see if new Annual Pass sales resume before or during your trip. If sales resume before you have used your last ticket, you should be able to upgrade your ticket to an Annual Pass at Guest Relations at the theme parks or Disney Springs by paying the difference in value.

As a Florida resident, you have another awesome option to consider, Debbie! Disney Pixie Dust Passes are still available for purchase for Florida residents, so, you could purchase one now! The Pixie Dust Pass is subject to blockout dates, including weekends, but I have a suggestion to turn that problem into pixie-dusted fun. While prices are subject to change, right now, you can add on the Water Park and Sports Option to this Annual Pass for only $99 plus tax for the whole year (and even less when you renew!), and there are NO blockout dates for this Option. So, if you purchase the Pixie Dust Pass and add the Water Park and Sports Option, you can visit the theme parks on the weekdays and save visits to the water parks, golf courses, miniature golf courses, and more for the weekends and other Pixie Dust Pass blockout dates. That sounds like a blast! Let the magic begin!

Debbie, while this probably was not the answer you were hoping for, I hope it was at least helpful. I will be wishing upon a star that Annual Pass sales resume again soon, and you can answer the call of the magic. Please stop by any time with any vacation planning questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon,

    Mandy
