    won't let me reassign tickets

Hey there, Kathryn. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I'm sorry you are having a hard time reassigning your Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets but I'm here to help!

You are able to reassign Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets to anyone on your friends & family list on your MyDisneyExperience account as long as the tickets are unused. I think the most user-friendly way to do this is using the MyDisneyExperience app on my smartphone. To do this you'll need to log into your MyDisneyExperience account via the app. Next, select the three horizontal bars on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen - this is the menu bar. Then you'll need to select the "Tickets & Passes" option. This will pull up all of the tickets linked to all of the accounts that you are family and friends with. If a ticket is eligible to be reassigned you will see the option underneath it. If you don't see the ticket you want to reassign right away you'll just need to swipe through the options to find it. Once you hit the reassign button it will pull up all of the people you are able to reassign it to. You'll select the person and hit the blue "Reassign" button. Using the app makes this a very simple process.

If you are still having trouble reassigning your tickets, I'd go ahead and reach out to Guest Services. Right now my preferred method of doing this is using the chat feature also found on the MyDisneyExperience app. You'll go back to the menu section and scroll down until you see the option to "Chat With Us". This will open up the chat feature and you can give a short description of what is going on. Then, when a Cast Member is available to chat with you, you will receive a push notification that they are ready to help you. You can open back up the app and they should be able to troubleshoot the issue for you. You can also call Guest Relations at (407) 566-4985 and they will also be able to help figure out the problem. If you call, I did want to let you know that due to high call volume there are longer wait times than normal. That's why I have been using the chat feature instead.

I hope you are able to figure out the problem and reassign your tickets asap, Kathryn. If you have any other questions, please feel to reach back out to me. I'm happy to help.

    Have a great day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
