Hi Rita!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm sure you're getting so excited for your upcoming vacation to Alaska. You've chosen such a magical and beautiful itinerary. Seeing the glaciers up close while sitting on the deck of the Disney Wonder is an experience you won't forget!
The ports of call during your 9-Night Alaskan Cruise should not require tendering. The Disney Wonder is scheduled to dock at each port! Two of your "stops" are actually glaciers, so unless you've scheduled the
Glacier Explorer Port Adventure for the day you travel up the Tracy Arm Fjord, you'll remain onboard to view the magnificent scenery. The ship will typically dock right in the heart of the towns throughout your voyage. You'll love disembarking the ship and only having a short walk or shuttle to the shopping and dining in each town!
Have you started thinking about packing yet? I recommend checking out the
Packing List for Disney Cruises! I remember being worried about packing for our two Alaskan adventures. I was comfortable wearing layers each day while exploring each port of call. I also recommend packing a water-proof jacket and warmer clothes to wear on deck, especially during the days you visit the glaciers!
Rita, if you can think of any future questions, please sail back and visit us again! I know you're going to have a WONDERful time this July!
