    Do the wonderland chararcters really ride with guests on the mad tea party? If so is there any way to increase our chances of getting one to ride with us? It would make my son's day.

    Hi there Brandie,

    There are several magical, once in a lifetime opportunities that are presented to extremely lucky guests every once in a while at the Magic Kingdom.  A few of these pixie dusted experiences include being named Grand Marshall of the parade, pulling the sword from the stone, and riding the the tea cups at Mad Tea Party with the famous residents of Wonderland.

    Guests are always chosen at random, but it is rumored that you can increase your chances of taking a "spin" with Alice and Mad Hatter if you are the first group in line for Mad Tea Party!  When the rope drops, head immediately to Fantasyland and over to the attraction to try your luck!  Sometimes they ride right before their meet and greet period begins and sometimes it's at the end!  It may be helpful to ask their handler if you see them meeting with guests the day before or so.
