Hi there, Laura!
It is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by to ask me your question about your family's meal at Be Our Guest, one of the best table service restaurants I've visited with my own family. Let's take a look into the Enchanted Mirror and see what you can expect at your dining experience.
Be Our Guest was one of the very first fully immersive restaurants that my older son visited at Disney World. He was only a little two year old, but I still remember how his face lit up when he saw the Enchanted Rose and other out-of-this-world, magical elements. At the time, I, too, wondered what he should eat because he was too young to eat an entire meal himself.
As of now, children aged 3 and older are charged for the Be Our Guest Restaurant meal (both
lunch and dinner). The cost of their meal is lower than for those aged over 9. However, children under 3 years old are considered "Guests of Mickey" and can eat free of charge.
Because he is a picky eater, you'll definitely want to ask a Cast Member if there can be any food substitutions for him. You'd be surprised by the options that the restaurant could be able to make for him. As a mom of two young boys (one doesn't even like condiments), I can say that it never hurts to ask. And you'll be happy to know that a fruit bowl is included in the choices for kids' menu appetizers at Be Our Guest.
Laura, I hope that this helps you with your trip's finishing touches. I just know that you are going to have an amazing time! If you have any additional questions about your upcoming vacation,
reach out to us here at planDisney. Be our guest!
Magic always,
LeAndra
