Hello, I was wondering if its worth getting a pass holder?

Hey there, Robert! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so glad you found us and brought us your question. It looks to me like you’re getting a head start on planning a magical vacation for this coming fall, and you’re thinking about whether it might be a good idea to become a Disney Annual Passholder! How exciting! There are many great reasons to become a Passholder, and I will be happy to outline those for you. However, the final decision will depend on your travel plans, and how often you visit The Happiest Place on Earth.

One of the most exciting benefits to being an Annual Passholder is having Memory Maker added to your My Disney Experience account for the 365 days of your Annual Passholder status! This allows you to capture those incredible Disney memories and not have to worry about the same deadlines you would be subject to if you bought Memory Maker for your vacation.

Other amazing benefits of Passholder status include free parking at Disney Theme Parks and up to a 20% discount in select dining and shopping locations! The last time I was lucky enough to have an Annual Pass, it made those special souvenirs that much easier for us to take home! Please check here for a full listing of all the amazing Passholder Extras - there are simply too many to list in one answer!

All those amazing extra perks aside, you will likely find that it becomes financially beneficial to have an Annual Pass if you plan to visit the Disney Parks for at least 10 days within a calendar year, when compared to purchasing Park Ticket packages. For most folks, this is about 2-3 trips worth of visits. For a lucky few (maybe this is you!) it is done in one, long, incredible visit!

Lastly, as a Disney-lover, and from personal experience, I can say there is no feeling quite like having that Annual Passholder card in your wallet.

Robert, I hope this information is useful to you as you continue your planning! Please do not hesitate to return to see us with any more questions we can help with -- it would be our pleasure!

    See ya real soon!
