Ahoy, Pamela, and welcome to planDisney! Your trip is just around the river bend, and I bet you're getting so excited. This is the time when final preparations are being made, and pretty soon, all that's left is for you to enjoy your cruise. But it sounds like there are a few details still on your mind, so let's take a look.
All of the information you entered while completing Online Check-In will need to be reviewed, and in my experience, this can take anywhere between a few hours and a few weeks, and your status will show as pending until this part of the process is complete on their end. If Disney Cruise Line needs any additional information from you or if anything needs to be resubmitted, they'll email you with next steps. Be sure to bring all of your boarding documents and
proof of citizenship with you to the port, and if anything is still needed from Disney at that time, they'll resolve it when you check in at the port. Rest assured, there is nothing more you need to do at this time unless requested by Disney.
Luggage tags can also take some time to arrive. While in most cases they're delivered in a timely manner, we're at the mercy of the USPS. For my last cruise, I didn't receive them prior to leaving, so I asked the friendly porters to tag my bags for me, and they arrived at my room just as they always have. If you're staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel prior to your cruise, you can ask for some at your hotel as well. Just double check that the ones they give you are for your specific ship. I've gotten them from the front desk in the lobby in the past when I needed more than I was sent. I am not a light packer! Luggage tags are exciting to receive in the mail, though, and I hope they arrive soon so you can have that awesome feeling.
