Hey there Humberto,
Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for stopping by with your question!
Currently, to enter one of the parks at the Disneyland Resort, you need both valid
theme park tickets and
theme park reservations for each day of your visit. These reservations are subject to availability and can fill up quickly, depending on the season.
When looking at the
Theme Park Reservation Calendar, it looks like the only theme park reservations available for November 5 are for Disneyland Park.
Unfortunately, this means you would not be able to start your day at Disney California Adventure Park on that date. However, as you noted in your question, you could purchase the
Park Hopper option and then could hop over to Disney California Adventure Park starting at 11:00 AM!
Personally, I'm a huge fan of the Park Hopper option. It provides quite a bit of flexibility when my family and I visit and allows us to switch between the parks and experience more throughout each day. Another option, if you'd rather not purchase the park hopper, is that your family members could switch their park reservations to Disneyland Park and you all could spend the day there instead!
Sorry if that wasn't the answer you were hoping for, Humberto! I'm hoping one of the alternatives I mentioned might work out well with your travel plans for that day and that you enjoy your time at the Disneyland Resort with your family!
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
