I was wondering why the accounts I manage are not showing up on my sisters wdw account now that we are linked. Do I have to make my children their own profile and get a linking code from theirs?

Hi, Joyce Anne!  Welcome to planDisney!

It looks like your visit to Walt Disney World Resort is coming up in just a few short days!  Before you arrive at The Most Magical Place on Earth, you'll definitely want to make sure that everyone in your travel party is connected to your My Disney Experience Family & Friends List.  This will allow your group to plan together using the Disney Genie+ service, experience attractions that utilize a virtual queue, share Disney PhotoPass pictures, and so much more.

I ran into a situation that sounds similar to yours when I recently visited EPCOT with some of my fellow planDisney panelists.  I needed to have everyone in our party on my Family & Friends List to request a virtual queue boarding group for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.  One of my planDisney pals was bringing her kids along with us, and while I was connected to her My Disney Experience account, we had to go through a few additional steps so that I could add her children to my Family & Friends List.  I'll walk you through the process so that you can see if that works for you and your sister.

First, have your sister open her My Disney Experience mobile app.  She should click on the three lines in the bottom-right corner of the screen, and then scroll down to "My Profile."  Next, have your sister click on "Family & Friends List," and then scroll down and select "Add a Guest."  When prompted, "How will you add this Guest?" she should choose "Find through my connected Guests."  As she scrolls down her screen, she should see your children listed and be able to select them.  Since you manage their accounts, an email should be sent to you that will ask for your permission to allow your sister to add your kids to her My Disney Experience Family & Friends List.

If these steps do not work for you and your sister, I recommend calling the Help Center phone number for My Disney Experience.  A friendly Cast Member at that phone number should be able to take a look at your accounts and get everything sorted out for you.  Then your whole family will be connected and ready to experience all the Disney thrills during your upcoming vacation!

Joyce Anne, if you have any other questions as you get ready to travel, please don't hesitate to ask.  My fellow planDisney panelists and I are all ears!  See ya real soon!
