Hi there, Robert. Thanks for bringing your question here today - I have some recommendations for you. If I'm honest, Walt Disney World usually provides me with a welcome break from the footie, but let's find try and find you the best spot to catch a match of the day!
Here are my top three recommendations based on the following criteria - they're all within walking distance to
Disney's Yacht Club Resort, and all serve a decent pint! I can't guarantee the Premier League, but the friendly Cast Members will do their utmost to help you watch your favourite team.
Up first, not least because of its convenience, is
Crew's Cup Lounge located right in Disney's Yacht Club. There's plenty of seating, TVs for the game, a selection of draft beers, and food on offer - all without stepping foot outside the resort.
Just opposite Disney's Yacht Club, over at
Disney's BoardWalk (which always has a great atmosphere and entertainment most evenings) is
Big River Grille & Brewing Works. I believe it is unique in its micro-brewing status on Disney property and has a reputation for great food with, you guessed it, TVs to catch the game. I've heard great things about the Brewery Nachos on the menu. You can either walk here (in around 15 minutes) or catch the
ferry across the lake to Disney's BoardWalk - either way, it's a very picturesque journey.
My third recommendation is
Shula's Lounge at Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. There are plenty of televised sports on offer here, and you can order from the full menu shared with Shula’s Steak House.
My bonus selection is the
Rose & Crown Pub in EPCOT - you may not be able to catch the match, but it would be remiss of me not to mention it, especially should you miss Blightly dearly on your trip.
Well, Robert, I hope that information helps you catch all the important games on your adventure at Walt Disney World. Please pop back if you need anything. Enjoy the Magic, Louise.
