Hello, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Donna!
You are going to love visiting sunny Southern California! Late
December is typically comfortable, though I recommend a light jacket or sweater for the early morning and late evening. In case of light rain showers, it is best to be prepared with a jacket or poncho. Shops around the parks will typically have ponchos available for sale, should the need arise. I'm really excited for you and your little Mouseketeer to experience the Happiest Place on Earth for the first time. Be sure to stop by Guest Relations to pick up a complimentary "1st Visit!" button to celebrate the occasion.
Some of my best memories with our young children have been at the various
Character Dining experiences of the Disneyland Resort. While all are wonderful, there are three dining experiences that I would recommend for younger guests, depending on your schedule needs and character preferences. At
Goofy's Kitchen, you'll be able to enjoy either breakfast or
dinner while greeting old friends in their classic attire. I loved chatting with Chip and Dale about the special badges on their uniforms at
Mickey's Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet. And starting next month, the
Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures will be an unforgettable way to spend some quality time with your favorite princesses!
No matter which you choose, I hope you have a magical time, Donna!
