Hi, I was wondering when WDW starts decorating for the Halloween season?

Hello Ashly! Halloween is such a frightfully fun season to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth! The great news is that this season begins very early at the Walt Disney World Resort!

This year, the Halloween season begins on August 13th and stretches through November 1st! These are the dates of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! This means that most, if not all, of the fall and Halloween decorations will be up in Magic Kingdom Park by August 13th! The other parks and Disney Resort Hotels might wait just a tad longer to jump into the fun of Halloween.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a special-ticketed event held on select nights in Magic Kingdom Park! It is a must for fans of Halloween! The party begins most nights at 7:00PM, but ticket holders are permitted to enter the park as early as 4:00PM! That is a great perk that my family always takes advantage of at that time of the year! The party then lasts until midnight! It is so fun to be in Magic Kingdom Park late at night!

Ashly, the good news is that even if you choose to not attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you will still get to enjoy those fall and Halloween decorations in Magic Kingdom Park! They will be up whether it is party time or regular park-going time! Enjoy them either way!
