Hello Connie,
It’s wonderful to see you again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!
The Club Level rooms at select
Deluxe Resort Hotels really are the peak of luxury for any stay at Walt Disney World Resort. Yes, there are typically snacks and more substantial food items and drinks available throughout the day, but you also have access to a dedicated set of
Club Level Lounge Cast Members who can help you plan every part of your Disney Day, even before you leave home. If you’re looking for some vacation pampering, then that’s the room category to choose when you’re looking to book your upcoming Disney Parks vacation.
That being said, I’m not entirely sure that the extra costs associated with a Club Level room are really offset by any Disney dining savings that you may be able to have as a result of the food and snack offerings that will be available to you throughout your stay in one of these rooms.Yes, you can absolutely fill up and come up with a substantial meal if you like the items being offered at a given dining time, especially at breakfast and the dinner hour. But, from a purely budgetary perspective, you’d be better off enjoying, say, a meal at a
counter service dining location that you can split between members of your party as some locations have rather large portions.
Another money saving tip: most
standard Disney Resort Hotel rooms even have a
mini refrigerator that can allow you to keep some breakfast items on hand throughout your stay. You can find a limited selection of food items at your Resort’s gift shop, but you can also use several grocery delivery services to have food items delivered straight to your room for your stay.
Finally, part of the fun of a visit to Walt Disney World Resort for me is getting to enjoy all of the different types of foods and flavours that are available in the Theme Parks and
Disney Springs. If you’re always heading back to your Disney Resort Hotel for meal times, you might find you’re missing some of the fun.
I hope my answer helps you weigh the “pros and cons” of a Club Level stay during your upcoming vacation. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
