Greetings, Tabitha!
Welcome to planDisney! I think you are the opposite of a "foolish mortal" because you sound like an excellent park strategist. I'd love to help you make the most of your day!
Haunted Mansion Holiday is open for visitors, but the grounds around the mansion are still going through a bit of a metamorphosis, shall we say. Because of the work around the mansion, guests must reserve their "sleigh" in advance by joining the
Virtual Queue in the
Disneyland Mobile App. The attraction is not currently included in the
Lighting Lane Multipass system, so your one and only chance to ride is using the Virtual Queue, which is limited to once per day for each guest. We want as many guests as possible to be able to visit Jack and Sally!
You won't be able to visit the mansion more than once a day, but Jack Skellington may come out to greet you! Check the Disneyland Mobile App for character appearances by using the map feature and filtering for "Characters" at the top. Scroll over toward New Orleans Square and you may find a character pin for Jack near 21 Royal Street. He's very popular, so keep an eye on his appearance times and come early!
You can't currently use Lightning Lane Multipass to visit the mansion, but there are about a dozen attractions at Disneyland Park that are included, making it a great option to maximize your time in the parks.
Plus, you get to enjoy unlimited digital downloads of your Disney PhotoPass images! One of my favorite ways to pass time in lines is using
Disney PhotoPass Lenses to capture funny selfies of myself and my party. Some of these special lenses are only available in specific areas of the parks!
Have a ghoulishly delightful visit to the parks, Tabitha!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
