Hi I was wondering if you can still get the 9"vinylmations create your own and if anyone has tried them for autographs and how they work have seen some online that are autographed but some signatures make me think they are special not just signed in p

    Hi there Sheena!

My teenage daughter is a BIG fan of collecting Vinylmation, so we spend a good deal of time looking at them in the parks each and every visit we make!

During our most recent visit, we definitely still saw the larger, 9" blank Vinylmation in stores. Your best bet to confirm availability would be to call Merchandise Guest Services at 1-877-560-6477. A Cast Member there would be able to confirm their availability and current locations at which they're available. Another great place to check once you've arrived on site would be D Street at Downtown Disney on the West Side.

My 2012 Moms Panel colleagues and I actually had the opportunity to autograph a 9" Vinylmation ourselves and it turned out great! In fact, it's still on display at D Street up high on a shelf to the right of the cash desk (at least last time I was there it was). We used fine point 'sharpie' type markers to adorn the figure and they worked great.

If you're planning on using one for character autographs, simply check with each Cast Member that is accompanying the character before approaching them to sign. With Princes and Princes and other characters whose hands or 'paws' are more human-like in size, there shouldn't be a problem. With some of the larger characters whose hands or paws may be a little too large to secure and manoeuver the Vinylmation while signing, you may have a bit more of a challenge.

I've definitely seen other guests having their Vinylmations autographed in the past and in particular on the Disney Cruise Line I've seen guests drop them off at Guest Services to be autographed by the ship's character guests.

I hope these tips help you out Sheena!
Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
