I was wondering I just got my vacation today at the caribbean beach resort a standard room . I know they do different themed rooms. Is there any way to tell what exactly my room will look like ahead of of arrival?? Theme wise

Hi Melissa, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Pull up a lounge chair and dream of warm tropical breezes as we chat about one of my favorite Walt Disney World Resort hotels!

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort transports you to the islands with its brightly colored villages, lush landscaping, and cool beach vibe. Plus, there's just something about splashing around in a pool that looks like a Spanish fort that will bring out the pirate in anyone.

This Resort hotel is Disney's first Moderate Resort, and it recently underwent a complete re-do that made her even better than before! Old Port Royale, which houses the hotel lobby, restaurant, and quick-service dining location, is absolutely gorgeous, with lots of wood finishes and colorful fabrics. It's the perfect welcome to your island "home."

As part of the facelift of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, Disney reimagined the decor of the regular Guest rooms. You'll find that the rooms are well-appointed in calming colors and a relaxed feel. And each room has the same decor, with the exception of the specially-themed Pirate Rooms in the Resort hotel's Trinidad section.
I hope this helps you plan an island-inspired stay at Walt Disney World, Melissa. Please stop by and see us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
