    Hi, I was wondering if when using the magic bands at meal time would all the party membres need to be at the cashier. At breakfast we usually have the kids sit down while we go get the food - not sure if this will still work?

    Hi Patricia!

    I love having my kids sit at a table while I bring back food for them.  My husband calls this the "Conquer and Divide" method of parenting.  As a parent of four children I think the Cast Members actually appreciate me NOT having all of my children in line with me while purchasing food. 

    You do not have to have all members of your party with you in order to get your food using the Disney Dining Plan and the Magic Band.  Once I ordered six ice cream sundaes and the Cast Member didn't bat an eye, but I did get a pretty big smile. 

    The only difference you are going to find with ordering food with the Magic Band is that it is easier.  The features all work the same as your Keys to the World Card did previously, but now you are able to tap your Magic Band to pay and then enter your PIN.  I really enjoyed not having to bring my bag with me everywhere or worrying about dropping my park tickets out of my pocket.
