Hello! I am wondering what type of oil Walt Disney World uses to fry food in? I am finding more and more places are using soy oil and I am allergic to soy. I love getting the fried dough and other things. Thank you for your help.

Hello Mary Beth!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I'm not sure what type of oil is used to fry food at Walt Disney World.  I did do a google search but came up with no answers.  If I were you, I would email Special.Diets@WaltDisneyWorld.com and ask them your questions regarding the oil.  You can also read more about special dietary requests on that portion of the Walt Disney World website.

Hope this helped, Mary Beth.  Have a magical vacation.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
