Wondering what type of double stroller moms have had success using getting on and off of bus transportation to and from resorts. I have a front to back double but also a side to side jogger. Which is a better choice to bring? TIA :)

    Hi, there!

Candice, it sounds like you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. And with little ones in tow! How exciting.

The single most important must-have for my family's Disney vacations is our double stroller. We can't live without it! Our double stroller serves as a place for my kids to rest their little legs while we're exploring the theme parks, but too, we use it for much-needed storage (all those baby necessities need to go somewhere!). Not to mention, I have peace of mind when we're getting through crowds knowing that my kids are safely seated in the stroller.

One of the many benefits of staying at a Disney Resort hotel is the complimentary transportation to and from the theme parks and Disney Springs. My husband and I have found this service to be especially convenient when traveling with little ones! Since bus transportation requires that double strollers be folded prior to boarding, we have lots of experience with your question. Ultimately, you want to have a double stroller that folds quickly and easily, is light to carry, and takes up relatively little space once folded. I don't know what type of side-by-side double stroller you have, but we have the City Mini Double and it's perfect for Disney bus transportation. With just a quick pull of the straps on the seats, the City Mini Double folds super easily and nearly flat which makes it a breeze to carry on and off a bus.

You'll want to be sure to make your stroller stand out among a sea of others in the designated stroller parking areas in the theme parks. I tie a Disney-themed ribbon around the handlebar of our double stroller, but balloons, name plates, and even battery-operated twinkle lights do the trick!

Candice, please let me know if you have any other questions!
