As you know, you can purchase
Lightning Lane passes and make attraction selections ahead of your trip to
Walt Disney World Resort. Guests staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel can purchase a pass starting seven days before their check-in date for the entire length of their stay (up to 14 nights). All other Guests can purchase them three days before their day in the theme park. With your initial purchase of a Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you pick the date and theme park; select the family and friends you want to include; choose three attractions and arrival windows based on availability; and then follow the prompts for payment.
You can modify the attraction selections after you have purchased the Multi Pass, which is great if you have family members who have different ride priorities. It is also helpful if you are traveling with other families who have different eligibility dates.
To make selections and modifications together as one group, you will all need to be connected as
Family & Friends. When you are ready to modify your selections, open the
My Disney Experience app and tap on the Lightning Lane Passes section of the home screen. Then, you’ll be able to follow the prompts to modify your plans, including options to choose a different attraction and edit your party. You will see the options for attractions and arrival times based on availability.
The Multi Pass attractions in Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios are divided into two groups. You can select one from the first group and two (or all three) from the other group. This applies to the initial purchase and any modifications you make prior to your trip. Once you have redeemed your first Lightning Lane entry, you can make additional selections from either group.
