Ahoy there, matey! Isabel, it's my pleasure to welcome you to planDisney where we love chatting about Disney Cruise Line as much as Moana loves being a voyager!
Isabel, how exciting that you are
planning a Disney Cruise Line vacation. This has quickly become my family's favorite way to kick back, relax, and still enjoy the Magic of Disney. No matter which
itinerary you've chosen, I know you'll have an unforgettable time.
Now, as you're preparing to board, it's important to know what you can and can't bring in your luggage, so let's dive into your question. The
alcohol policy for Disney Cruise Line states that
"Guests 21 years and older may bring a maximum of 2 bottles of unopened wine or champagne (no larger than 750 ml) or 6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces) on board at the beginning of the voyage and at each port of call. These beverages must be packed in carry-on (not checked) bags or luggage." Isabel, in the case you described, this would mean that if your husband is planning to bring 2 bottles of wine, he could NOT also bring a 6-pack of beer. It's also important to note that alcohol brought on board cannot be packed in your checked bags, so please plan to have it with you in your carry-on.
As you continue planning, it might also help to review
Disney Cruise Line's suggested packing list. I like to refer to these suggestions as I'm going through my own checklist.
Isabel, if you have any additional questions, please come on back to planDisney. We love to see a returning guest!
In the meantime, I'll be wishing you fair winds and following seas,
Lauren
