Hi there Jocelyn! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for stopping by with your vacation planning question!
My family and I became
Disney Vacation Club Members because we enjoy the comforts of home on our Walt Disney World vacations. The one and two-bedroom villas are a fantastic way for us to travel with extended family. Our little Mouseketeers are still young, and it's always great to bring a few handy helpers with us to the theme parks!
Jocelyn, at
Disney's BoardWalk Villas, all two-bedroom villas are lock-off accommodations, meaning they combine a one-bedroom villa and a deluxe studio villa. They have two separate entrances, which works for groups that want both privacy and together time. I recently stayed in this exact type of vacation home at Disney's BoardWalk Villas with friends who had teenage children. The teens were able to come and go late into the night, using the studio villa entrance without disturbing us slumbering grownups!
Good news, Jocelyn! Because of the configuration of vacation homes at Disney's BoardWalk Villas, your two-bedroom villa and deluxe studio villa may be located in close proximity. If you are a Disney Vacation Club Member, be sure to
call Member Services at (800) 800-9800 to add this request to your reservation. If you have booked a room-only stay or
Resort Hotel Package through the
Walt Disney World website, you'll want to call (407) 939-5277, and your request can be noted on both reservations. Remember that requests are never guaranteed, but I have found that Cast Members do their best to accommodate guests' wishes.
I am so excited about your visit, Jocelyn! Although Disney's BoardWalk Villas is not my "home resort," I have enjoyed many stays here. I love the walkability to both
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios, the resort's charming waterfront setting, and the whimsical,
Luna Park Pool. EPCOT is my favorite theme park, and an ideal Disney day for me is strolling through the International Gateway at park opening, returning to the resort for a relaxing, poolside lunch at
Leaping Horse Libations, and finishing my day back at World Showcase with dinner and a
nighttime spectacular. Practically perfect in every way!
I hope this helps as you continue to plan for your fall adventure! If there is anything we can do to make your stay next year even more magical, please come back and see us again. You will be visiting right as Walt Disney World commemorates its golden anniversary, and there are sure to be many exciting things happening for the celebration! Keep your eyes on the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest news.
Thanks again for stopping by, and we'll see ya real soon!
