Hi Ben,
Welcome back to planDisney and thank you for your question!
One of the many great things about staying in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel is being close to the magic. Now the distances from specific hotels to the Theme Parks can vary, but you’re never too far away!
When I think about booking my hotel, I like to think about what area of the Resort I’d like to be in. For example, the All-Star Resorts (
Movies,
Music, and
Sports) are all close to one another in the
Disney’s Animal Kingdom area of the Resort. So, each of those are closest to that specific Park.
If you’re hoping to be in walking or monorail distance from
Magic Kingdom Park, you’d think about Resorts like
Disney’s Contemporary Resort,
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, or
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
If you’re hoping to ride the
Disney Skyliner, you’ll want to look at Resorts like
Disney’s Riviera Resort,
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, or
Disney’s Pop Century. These are all stops on the Disney Skyliner loop which can take you directly to
Disney’s Hollywood Studios or
EPCOT.
No matter where you stay within the Disney Resorts Collection, you’ll have some means of Disney Transportation to use. Whether it’s a
bus, water taxi, or monorail, you’ll be whisked away to enjoy your day in the Theme Parks! Keep in mind that the transportation runs throughout the day beginning about 45 minutes before the Theme Parks open and until one hour after the Theme Parks close.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” gets you that much closer to booking your Walt Disney World Resort holiday. If you have further planning questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
