Hello! I am wondering what time to visit plaza inn disneyland for character dining. Will you see all the same characters no matter what time you visit? Or will you see more characters at a certain time? How many characters do you see during the meal?

Hello and welcome back to planDisney, Faith. We're so glad you came back to visit us with this question. Your visit to the Disneyland Resort will be here before you know it, so let's get this planning party started.

I can't think of a better way to start your day than with a meal with some magical friends. Plaza Inn offers character dining during breakfast only. Breakfast is from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. During the "Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park," you may see as many as six different characters during your meal. The characters are available during the entire breakfast time (with breaks) and you should be able to see all of them during your visit, no matter what time that may be. Keep in mind that the character lineup is subject to change without notice. When I've done character dining in the past, I'll typically see each character at least once and often times more as I'm enjoying my meal.

Plaza Inn is located in Disneyland Park, so you will want to make sure that your theme park reservation for the day is for Disneyland. After that, just make sure you grab a Minnie waffle, and don't forget your complimentary button at the entrance (subject to availability).

You chose a delicious time to visit. Since we're already talking about food, I hope that you'll hop over to Disney California Adventure Park to enjoy the Food & Wine Festival during your visit. I look forward to eating my way through this festival every year. Keep an eye on Disney Parks Blog for a Foodie Guide detailing all of the tasty eats and treats to help you make your must-try list. There most likely will also be a handy guide to all the fun in the Disneyland app

Well, Faith, I hope this is helpful as you continue to make your plans for your upcoming trip. Please come back to visit us with any other questions you might have. Until then, I'll be sending all the pixie dust your way as you plan for your practically perfect visit. Let the countdown to the magic begin!
