    Hello I was wondering what time of a morning do the Disney buses start running because we are staying at port orleans french quarter and we have reservations at chef mickeys at 730 am and we just need to know if we will need to get a taxi or what to do???

    Hi Heather,

    Port Orleans French Quarter is one of my favorite places to stay! I think the bus service is reliable but I would be concerned with a 7:30AM reservation to make. Buses typically start an hour before park opening but they do have some buses running earlier for those with early reservations. You would have to take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and either walk or take the Resort Monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort. My concern is that earlier buses are not guaranteed and there is no way to know if you will get one in time.

    In this case, I would recommend a taxi. We have taken taxis at Walt Disney World a few times because we didn't want to leave our room so early to wait for the bus. The taxi usually doesn't cost very much and was worth it to us for a lower stress level! I hope you have a lovely breakfast at Chef Mickey's!
