Hello, Amanda! Welcome to planDisney! I'm glad you're here! It looks like you'll be headed to
Walt Disney World Resort next month. I am so excited for you to experience all the magic that the Disney Parks have to offer and to enjoy a little break from the Canadian winter! My Canadian friend (and fellow planDisney panelist),
Olivier, just wrapped up his most recent Disney vacation, and I'm pretty sure he's already planning his next one!
Happily Ever After is a fireworks extravaganza that combines projections, lights, music, and some special effects for an experience I think is not-to-be-missed! It's more than just a fireworks show. It's a look into all our favorite characters' stories and a reminder of what they've taught us. By the end, I am always inspired and a little teary-eyed. I checked the
Magic Kingdom Park calendar, and it says that Happily Ever After is currently scheduled for 9 pm on Wednesday, February 18. These types of things are always subject to change, of course. You can check for updates, park hours, parades, and attraction refurbishments by selecting the park(s) and dates of your trip
here.
This nighttime spectacular is very popular, as you can imagine, so I suggest staking out a viewing spot early. My favorite way to experience the show is with a
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Pre-Party. I love spending hours in the parks, logging thousands of steps on my feet, knowing that I have this event at the end of the day. These parties include all-you-care-to-enjoy desserts and beverages. You will then follow your guide to a reserved area for Happily Ever After. There is an option to experience the
dessert party after the fireworks, if you prefer. I think this
Enchanting Extra is worth every penny, and I can't recommend it enough.
Amanda, your trip will be here before you know it! As you prepare, let us at planDisney know if you have any more questions! It's our joy to help people plan magical vacations, and we'd love to see you back!
Always Dreaming -
Elizabeth
