Hi there, Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney.
As one of the military moms on the panel, I’d like to thank you for your family’s service to our country. I know just how special together time is for our military families, and I’m so glad you’re planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.
The current Military Promotional Theme Park Ticket promotion offers either 4-day or 5-day tickets with a military rate. For all the details, including eligibility requirements and current pricing, please see the
Military Promotional Ticket web page. At this time, 3-day ticket options are not available at a military discounted rate. Please note these ticket offers much be purchased at your local base, and I do recommend calling your base ticket office to ask which promotional tickets they have in stock before visiting.
Never fear, Jennifer! I have a great resource for you. My family once planned a spur-of-the-moment visit and only needed 3-day tickets, and we were able to purchase them from
Shades of Green, the resort hotel for military families at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you look at the Shades of Green website, you will find a price list and order form under the attractions and experiences section. They do currently list 3-day tickets under a couple of different promotions, so be sure to read the fine print to ensure the offer terms and conditions work for you. I’ve ordered tickets through their online process before and had a great experience. I see you’re planning a visit next month, so I would definitely get the process started soon, as the tickets are sent via mail once they confirm your eligibility via email, so it does take several days.
As for
Disney Park Pass Reservations, you’ll be able to make those once you have tickets linked to each Guest in your party’s My Disney Experience account. You can
view Disney Park Pass availability using the online calendar; at the time I’m writing this, the week of April 12 is green, meaning all parks have availability, but please note this is subject to change. You will need Disney Park Pass Reservations for each day you're planning to visit a theme park.
If you're asking about dining reservations, the easiest way to check availability is to use the
Dining Reservations web page to search the restaurants you'd like to visit. Select your date, time, and party size and see what options are offered. You can also do this in the My Disney Experience mobile app.
Spring is one of my very favorite times to visit the Walt Disney World Resort, Jennifer. The weather is gorgeous, the days are getting longer, and the
Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is in full swing, with its gorgeous topiaries, fun activities, and delicious food and drink. As you count down to your visit, be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and updates, and please come back and see us if we can help with any further questions.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
