Welcome to planDisney. We’re so glad you took the time to stop by with your question for us!
Now that the Disneyland Resort theme parks have reopened for California residents, I bet you’re excited and looking forward to the pixie-dusted fun. Right now, in order to
purchase tickets, you’ll be asked to make your theme park reservation as well. I just peeked at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar and Guests can make bookings through July 22, 2021. With the uncertainty of when the state of California and Disneyland Resort theme parks will allow our out-of-state friends to visit, it’s probably a safer bet to wait to purchase your tickets. You may encounter issues on
Disneyland.com with purchasing tickets if your Disney account and credit card information are linked to an out-of-state address.
According to a recent announcement by the governor, Mr. Gavin Newsom, the State of California anticipates full reopening of the state on June 15, 2021. However, Disneyland Resort has not released any information as to when out-of-state Guests can visit the theme parks. I recommend staying tuned to
Disney Parks Blog and
Disneyland.com for the latest park news.
