I was wondering what you thought of the Polynesian Resort??  It's our first time going with our 7 year old..also with all the character dining at the resort-even thought you stay there do you still need to book reservations..is this for all places?

The Polynesian Resort is a tropical getaway in the middle of Disney magic. I also love the large rooms, volcano pool, watching fireworks and the Electrical Water Pageant from the beach.

Our son enjoys this resort too.

There is only one character dining meal at the Polynesian Resort. It is the morning breakfast at 'Ohana's with Lilo and Stitch. This is a very popular breakfast not only for guests staying at the Poly but for those guests headed to the Magic Kingdom for the day.

Yes, you will need to book an Advance Dining Reservation. And you will need to do so for all table-service restaurants. Otherwise, you may be very disappointed to be on vacation and find restaurants booked solid or only 9 p.m. reservations left, for example.

    Aloha!
