Hello I was wondering if there's a military discount on a every day basis. I'm trying to plan a one day visit before my son ships out on February 2020

Hi there, Beverly, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so glad you’re hEAR, and I can’t wait to help you plan your son’s special visit to the Disneyland Resort! I also want to extend a big thank you to your son and your family for the sacrifices you make for our country!

There are some wonderful ticket and hotel discounts currently available to Military families in 2020! The discounted 3-Day or 4-Day Military Promotional Park Hopper Tickets can be purchased on-base, or at a Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booth. The Eligible Service Member or spouse would need to be present to both purchase these tickets and to use them. Eligible Service Members can purchase up to six of these tickets per year. 1-Day tickets are also available, and can be purchased on-base. The Eligible Service Member or spouse can purchase as many of these tickets as needed.

If you’re interested in checking out the discounted rates at the three Disneyland Resort Hotels, please call (800) 642-5392. My family loves the Disneyland Hotel for its classic Disney nostalgia and awesome Monorail waterslides, but I’m also a big fan of the luxurious Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, which features an exclusive entrance into Disney California Adventure Park!

You may want to also look into booking a special Dining experience for your son and family. Some of my favorite spots are Lamplight Lounge, Wine Country Trattoria, Blue Bayou Restaurant, and Cafe Orleans. I recommend making a reservation online ahead of time.

Last but not least, here’s the Entertainment Schedule for your arrival day, so you can start mapping out your magical plans. I recommend downloading the Disneyland app before your arrival, especially if you plan to arrive early to try to grab a Boarding Group for the all-new, epic attraction, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance! Here are some helpful tips for how to prepare for this exciting adventure!

Please stop by with any additional questions, Beverly... I'm all EARs!

Wishing you and your family a magical, memorable visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
