Greetings, Kevin, and welcome to planDisney! November is a fantastic time to visit the Disneyland Resort. And you're right – the first two weeks of November are a bit of a transition period from Halloween Time to the holiday season.
Kevin, in past years, I've noticed holiday decorations begin to adorn the park just after Halloween ends. In early November, you're likely to see garland and wreaths start to appear! There's a good chance there will already be "snow" on Sleeping Beauty Castle, too. It's a little early for us to know how the
70th Anniversary Celebration will be carried through the holiday season, but more information may be shared on the
Disney Parks Blog in the coming months.
We know that, for Halloween Time, certain elements of the 70th Anniversary Celebration will remain, including decorative accents in areas of the Resort, the colorful castle in the esplanade, the
Key to Disneyland lock stations, and more. If this remains the case into the holiday season, you should still see celebratory decor during your visit. When it comes to shows, we will have a better idea about entertainment in November once the
Hours & Events Calendar is updated – it shows information as far as six weeks out, so I would check it near the end of September to get an idea of what to expect.
Remember to keep an eye on any other experiences you may be interested in – dining reservations, as well as booking guided tours, can be done as far as 60 days in advance. Perhaps you want to
enjoy a meal with visits from Disney pals. Or, you want to
pair a meal with reserved viewing of a show.
Kevin, I hope you have a fantastic visit to the Disneyland Resort this fall. If you have any other questions between now and then, you know where to find us.
Wishing you magic,
Kriss
