Hi I was wondering if you can tell me where I can refill my mugs at Riverside. Do you have to go to the main building or is there other areas near the rooms near ice machine Also any other good tips for staying there with 9yrs 5yrs and two 2 yrs

    Hi Sheena!

Oh, you're going to have a great time at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. Not only is this a beautiful resort but there are activities galore, including one of the only places to fish! Do be sure to walk by the Magnolia Bend area as these buildings look like beautiful antebellum style mansions on perfectly manicured lawns complete with garden fountains.

Refillable Drink Mugs can be filled at the self-service beverage stations in the quick-service dining locations of all Disney Resort Hotels. You'll find a variety of soda, iced tea, coffee, hot chocolate, hot tea, and usually a still option like lemonade or punch. Specifically at your hotel your refill station will be located in the Riverside Mill Food Court, which is centrally located to all guest room buildings.

As far as activities for kids, not only do you have access to the six pools at your resort hotel, Riverside also allows its guests to pool hop over to Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter to use its one large pool plus super amazing kiddie splash area. My own 2-year-old loves this area so much, and I love that I can relax with a drink while he has fun in just a few inches of water. And don't forget to bring your refillable mug to the French Quarter! You'll receive an activities sheet at check-in of that weeks Movies Under The Stars schedule, and don't forget to bring or buy your own s'mores items for the nightly campfire! Lastly, you can also catch a boat from your hotel to Disney Springs! This hotel truly does have it all.

I hope you're getting excited, Sheena, and We'll See You Real Soon!
