    I am wondering if they have teacher discounts for the parks tickets and how to apply for the discount?

    It's always a pleasure to welcome a fellow educator to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for stopping by.

    There is an amazing discount on theme park tickets for teachers who are traveling with school groups at Walt Disney World Resort. The Disney Youth Office provides free tickets for two teachers who accompany a minimum of 10 students during Disney Youth Education Series classes. I have participated in these engaging, curriculum-based programs every year since 2011 and Disney's offer of free tickets for educators in this situation is a true testament to Disney's appreciation for teachers. Unfortunately, at present there are no discounts for teachers who are traveling separately from their students. 

    However, the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort does offer a discount on guest rooms for teachers and nurses. I took advantage of their discount for teachers a few years ago and had a delightful stay at the resort. I highly recommend the experience. If you'd like to see if they have discounted rooms available during your upcoming vacation, just call 1-888-828-8850.
