Wondering about swimming in mid november - seeing a lot of people saying its too cold to swim - others say pools heated and they still swim - we are from mn so cold doesn't bother us too much - is the water tolerably warm? are the pools very crowded?

    Hi Sandra!

Thanks for sending the Disney Parks Moms Panel your question!  Being from Canada, my family may have a slightly higher tolerance for the cool weather during the winter months in Florida.  All of the pools at Walt Disney World Resort are in fact heated and are actually quite warm.  I have always found November fine for swimming, whereas December and January are less predictable.  I tend to look at the long term weather forecast and plan on swimming on the warmest day.  Although the weather is warm, the air outside may be cool, making the walk back to your resort room a bit chilly.  In my experience, the pools tend to be significantly less crowded in the cooler months, the last time my family and I went swimming the lifeguard was joking with us, saying the only people who swim in the "cold" weather are the Canadians!

Have a magical time on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation Sandra.  Please let me know if you have any other questions, I would be happy to help!
