    Hi I am just wondering we are staying in the little mermaid room can you hire a coffee machine in that room

    Hi Lynsey!

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. My family and I stayed in one of The Little Mermaid Standard Rooms at Disney's Art of Animation Resort just a few years ago and it was such a wonderful vacation. We loved everything about the room and the resort, especially the beautiful theming throughout the resort and the tasty food at Landscape of Flavors. Unfortunately, The Little Mermaid Standard Rooms do not have a coffee pot and there is not a service to rent a coffee pot for the duration of your trip.

    Since my husband and I both must have at least one cup of coffee to start our day, I can share our coffee trick that we use not only at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, but for all of our Walt Disney World Resort vacations. We always purchase refillable drink mugs that are valid for the length of our trip. (If you will be using one of the dining plans, a refillable mug is included with your dining plan!) The first one awake, which in my family is always me, gathers all of the mugs and makes the trip to Landscape of Flavors to get coffee for the adults and a morning drink for my kids. It's not quite as convenient as having a coffee pot right in the room, but I love using this bit of quiet time to gather my thoughts before a big park day and to enjoy the resort area in the quite morning. We enjoy these drinks during our morning in the room and while we get dress and then when we are heading out to the theme parks, we like to bring our mugs with us to get one more cup of coffee at Landscape of Flavors before heading out to start our day!
