Just wondering if you can stay at the resort for 5 days with dining plan each day and only do 2 days at parks? We want a day to relax after a long flight, plus a day at Disney Springs. We still want the dining plan for all 5 days.

    Hi Karen,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow Canadian!

Part of the reason why I love my Disney Parks vacations so much is because I really do enjoy using all of the amenities at my Walt Disney World Resort hotel. I completely understand wanting to relax after a long flight, and then enjoy all of the food and fun that Disney Springs has to offer. I think that sounds like a wonderful vacation!

I’m thrilled to say that, if you choose to add a Disney Dining Plan to your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort, the number of dining entitlements (i.e. “credits”) is tied to the number of days that you’ll be staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel and not to the number of days that you actually plan to visit a Theme Park. To use your example, if you purchase a standard Disney Dining Plan for five nights and there are four adults in your family, you’ll get 20 table service dining entitlements, 20 counter service dining entitlements and 40 snack entitlements that you can use throughout your stay.

I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect holidays for your family. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. We’re here to help!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
