Hi was just wondering if Splash Mountain is a "soaker" ride. In other words, will you get soaked so that this would be a ride best done right before leaving park for the day?

Hi, Laurie! The fun and excitement of Splash Mountain is that you never know if you'll be the one or two on your boat who look as if they took a shower in their clothes...or if you'll escape with just a spray to the face on the last plunge. I have been soaked more times than not! Therefore, I always bring rain ponchos. Even when the forecast calls for desert-type weather, I pack the ponchos simply for the fact that my kids want to ride Splash Mountain no matter what! Some take my poncho offer, and some brave the splashes.

Slash Mountain is a great attraction and incidentally one of the longest rides (in terms of time) in the entire park. Maybe the key to not getting wet is to have me on your boat...chances are, I'll be the one who is soaked, and everyone else can escape without much H2O! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
