Wondering if I can get the specifications for cooler bags that we are allowed to bring into the park? Also is it true that we are allowed to just grab a table at an air conditioned quick service location to eat our own food that they we brought?

    Hi Heather,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

According to the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, if you want to bring a cooler bag into any one of the Theme Parks or Water Parks, you’ll need to make sure it has soft sides, isn’t filled with loose ice and is no larger than 24” long, 15” wide and 18” high. In addition, please avoid packing any of your items into glass containers as those aren’t allowed in the Parks, either.

As for where you can eat your lunch, I’m happy to say that, yes, you can absolutely sit and enjoy your meal inside any of the seating areas located at the indoor counter service dining locations. If you’re visiting during the heat of the summer, it’s important to stay cool whenever possible! Plus, if you’re cutting costs by bringing your own food with you, that TOTALLY justifies a Mickey Bar or a Dole Whip later in the day, right?!

I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect visit to Walt Disney World Resort for your family. Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
