I was wondering what special things can we do to celebrate a Sweet 16 in , other than flowers to the room or a cake. I was under the impression that the birthday girl could go up on stage with Mickey for pictures and cake ... Kinda like Miley Cyrus Bday...

    Hi Betsy!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

That is a great question.  There are a lot of wonderful things to do at Walt Disney World to make any celebration special.  Unfortunately, getting up on stage with Mickey Mouse with a special cake is generally not available.  However, you could dine in a special restaurant, go out on Seven Seas Lagoon or Bay Lake in a pontoon boat or even a yacht, watch Wishes or Illuminations from a boat, go horseback riding in Fort Wilderness, go para-sailing, etc.

To make the most of the celebration, I suggest contacting a Dream Maker at Walt Disney World.  You can get more information on what a Disney Dream Maker can do here.  They have pulled off some amazing celebrations and surprises in the past.

I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you, but I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
