Was wondering when the special Candy Cane making goes on during the holidays and when and how we could buy tickets to receive one.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jo Ann. Thanks for stopping by.

December is such a merry time at the Happiest Place on Earth. I love the holiday decorations, and of course, the seasonal treats and peppermint scent as I walk down Main Street, U.S.A. My sister is a huge fan of the special handmade candy canes that are only available on select days during the month of December. Each day, only a limited number of candy canes are made each day, and there's an extremely high demand for them. In order to purchase one, you will need to have a wristband which will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis at park opening. The location of candy cane sales vary between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. There is no cost to obtain a wristband.

Dates for candy cane sales will usually be announced in the fall on the Disney Parks Blog. In the meantime, check out this 2015 post on the Disney Parks Blog regarding holiday treats at the Disneyland Resort.

I hope this information is helpful for you, Jo Ann. Please come back to visit us if you have further questions.

    Have a magical day,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
