Hi I was wondering how sound proof the rooms are at the vaule hotels. My son has really bad night terrors and I was wondering if anyone could give me advice.

Hi Kathleen! Thanks for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Panel! According to some independent research done, the Disney Value and Moderate Resorts have the best sound proofing in general. That is because those rooms open to the outside world, while rooms in a Disney Deluxe Resort open to an inside cooridoor or hallway. Basically, the Value and Moderate rooms have more insulation to keep cooling and heating costs lower and that helps with the sound proofing. If you would like a quiet area with a little bit more space between guests, you should consider staying in a cabin at Fort Wilderness. The cabins are, however, classified as a Disney Moderate Resort. I hope this helps. Write back with more questions!
