Hiya Bruna,
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your park admission question—and a great big Happy Birthday to your little one! How exciting to be celebrating such a special milestone at The Most Magical Place on Earth! There’s truly nothing quite like spending a birthday surrounded by pixie dust, balloons, and a few friendly characters who love to celebrate just as much as we do.
Now, let’s jump right into your question. Turning three is a very big year at Disney World! Children under the age of three don’t need a park ticket for admission, but once that special third birthday arrives, they’ll need their very own
ticket to enter the parks. When my daughter turned three, we made a big deal out of it—celebrating her official Disney big kid status and surprising her with her very first Annual Pass. It was such a core memory we’ll never forget!
To make your little one’s day even more magical, be sure to stop by Guest Relations or most retail locations to pick up a complimentary “Happy Birthday”
button. It’s incredible how many Cast Members (and Guests!) will join in the fun to wish them the happiest of birthdays throughout the day. And if you’re celebrating with a dining reservation, you can even order a special celebration
cake right from the
My Disney Experience app to make the day extra sweet.
Bruna, I hope this helps you plan the most magical birthday celebration ever! Wishing your little one a day filled with smiles, sprinkles, and a touch of Mickey magic. If you have any additional questions, feel free to visit us again.
See ya real soon,
Christina
